Meet the Optometrist

Dr. J. Minor Pace O.D.

Dr. Pace is a primary care optometrist serving patients of all ages. He provides a wide variety of vision services, including prescribing glasses and contact lenses for children and adults, diagnosing and managing eye diseases, and more. Originally from Forest, MS, Dr. Pace attended the University of Mississippi and then graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in 1984.Dr. Pace works diligently to be one of the finest eye care providers in Central Mississippi. Dr. Pace’s passion is family eye care. His practice consists of patients of all age groups and with visual/ocular problems. Dr. Pace has dedicated his professional career to bringing the highest level of vision and eye care to his patients. Dr. Pace lives in Brandon and has two children, Jessica and Jeffery.

Dr. Jeffery Pace

Dr. Jeffery Pace, the son of Dr. J Minor Pace, was born and raised in Brandon, Mississippi. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Mississippi State University in 2017. He completed his optometric education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry, where he received his doctorate degree in 2021.As a student, he served as Treasurer for SVOSH and Student Ambassador for the college of optometry and was awarded special recognition for exceptional service. He also earned his student fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry in 2019.
Dr. Pace completed several externship rotations in a variety of areas, including a private practice in Nashville where he worked directly with diagnosing and treating dry eye disease and the Saint Louis University Hospital where he diagnosed and treated diseases including glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy, and fit specialty contact lenses.Dr. Pace is starting his optometric career with 20/20 Vision Care. He has a special interest in contact lenses, dry eye, as well as treating and managing ocular disease.
